Grace and Truth {September 9}

In other words, what we love we change toward good—by loving it. That is the only path forward, if we care about what is good. We must choose what we look at; and we must choose what we look beyond. But if our focus is on what is ugly and evil and dark, we will strangely strengthen the ugly and evil and dark.
— Eric Metaxas

There's no better example on how to love well, than God himself, the source of love. God’s love is truly transforming. And it isn’t blind. He sees our sins and failings and then he looks beyond them, to the possibilities of a story that's been touched by grace and redemption. We can follow this example and love our country with the same truth about love.  This week's featured post for Grace and Truth is called, The Truth About Love, by Pam, who writes at A New Lens.  Her post touched my heart and made me think about something I can never think about enough...God's love.  I think it might do the same for you.  I hope you'll click over, read her words, and be blessed.
