Grace and Truth {July 22}

God wants us to have resolute faith regardless of the pain and suffering we are exposed to or experiencing. Jesus stated in John 16:33 that we will have tribulation but to take courage in remembering that He has overcome the world.
— Horace Williams, Pleasing to the Potter

This week's featured post for Grace and Truth is by Horace Williams of Pleasing to the Potter.  It's called. Stand Strong in Your Faith in the Midst of Suffering.  It's a familiar question.  Why does God allow suffering?  Recent events in the news have a lot of people thinking and talking about the topic of suffering.  Horace has the perspective of someone who has suffered deeply.  He had a stroke a few years ago.  That experience brought Horace closer to God and it has served in many ways to bring God glory.   Horace writes with wisdom and sensitivity about this difficult subject.  I really appreciated the post that he shared last week.  I hope you'll go say hello and be encouraged by what Horace has to share
