A Sweet Summertime Giveaway!

Gift giving has always been my way of showing love.  You, dear readers, are loved!  I know that you have many wonderful options on where to spend your limited reading time on the internet and I want you to know that I consider it a great privilege that you chose to be here.

What I'm about to giveaway is a 3-part gift package that, if I could, I'd love to be able to give to all of you.  Everything I've chosen is designed to encourage rest, hope, and peace. So how about a contest?!  

Giveaway at Above the Waves

This summer I've been working hard on writing content for an online retreat I'm creating called, Renew.  You can get a peak at some info about the retreat, HERE.  It will be ready this fall (September 11th).  I'm over the moon excited about it! 

Renew is something a little different from what you might know of me from this blog.  It will cover topics you're used to reading about here, such as Bible study and Christian living, but it will also cover some other areas such as health, hospitality, and creativity.  

There will be both an online and offline components to the retreat.  By the end of Renew, you'll have 20+ mini e-books & bonus downloads.  I'll tell you more about it when we get a little closer to the release date. 

Part one of this giveaway package is a free sign-up for you to join Renew- with a bonus.  You can also bring a friend along. Because everything is more fun with a friend, right?!

Renew online retreat

Part two of this giveaway package is a perfume I found while scrolling around Instagram.  The bottle is beautiful but you'll see why it caught my eye when you find out the name.  It's called, Renewed. I clicked over to the web page and I loved everything I read about this company.  It's called Scents of the Spirit.  According to the website, their mission of this,

Scents of the Spirit by Ego Eimi seeks to uplift women and foster hope by creating a fragrance collection which, with its use, will promote positive thinking and inspire abundant living through the application of God’s promises and truths in the Bible.

I requested a sample of the fragrance through the mail (and you can, too, through the contact form).  They actually make two fragrances, called, Renewed and Hopeful.  I love both fragrances but, of course, I ordered Renewed. How could I not?!  It smells like vanilla, orchid, and cashmere musk....so pretty!

I know perfume is a highly individualized choice, so for this part of the giveaway, the winner will be able to choose from either of the fragrances OR if wearing perfume isn't your thing, you may choose one of their candles (yes, they make those, too!).  

I know some of the above wording might sound like an ad, but I was not asked to write about this company and I was not given anything (not even a discount).  I simply like to support good companies and share good things with people I care about. 

Part three of the giveaway is a print copy of my book, Look to Jesus:  How to Let Go of Worry and Trust God. This book is part memoir paired with some basic Christian theology.  It's written for anyone who struggles with anxiety, (from someone who has been there) and it's full of encouragement that points to Jesus.  It's available on Amazon in print, digital, and audio versions.  If you visit THIS PAGE you can download and read the first chapter for free.
